Regretfully, I just cannot work on this comic any longer. The story behind that is... long, and not the point of this post.

The point is this: There will be no further updates of "Merret".



The good news? Well there is some.

I will be starting a comic: "Merret; From the Start"

This will follow Merret's past.

I'm sorry to any fans of Merret, but... perhaps one day I'll be able to pick it up again.

I'm sure you've noticed the lack of updates... I'm caught up by schoolwork (need to bring up a few grades) and A-kon (need to hurry my ass up on finishing my costume). Once that's over with, A-kon will already be here, so I'll be gone for THAT... So basically, hiatus until mid-June or so. I'll still make small updates (mostly to the site itself, all those links that don't go anywhere should be up soon... hopefully) and stoof... I'm sorry I'm very bad at this. v_v

Sorry I've missed this week's update! Normally I do the comics on Friday/Saturday (there's no time to do much in the week @_@) but because of the Arts and Jazzfest (which, by the way, kicks ass!) I'm afraid I'll have to miss this update (comic still not done). I'll try and have it up before next weekend, but I may just update with two next time if I'm too busy to have it done earlier.

comic will be up this afternoon. Having some issues finding my screentones... other than that it's done. If I can't find them in time I'll just photoshop tone it. But I warn you, that's not my strong point. XD

I'm gonna resume updates. My life's been hell, as I've mentioned before, and I apologize for not updating due to that... =(

New page is ready and will be uploaded this Sunday. I regret missing both Valentine's and White's day. =/ Ah well...............

My life has just turned into a near-mockery of a REALLY SHITTY TV DRAMA. Complete with fucked-up-ness, hospitals and really badly written scripts!

My updates will be few if any until this gets worked out. The Sunday before last was the worst Sunday of my life, last Sunday, things seemed to take a turn for the better and now... I don't know what to think. My world has turned upside down. Honestly, I can't take the stress of a weekly comic in addition to this, no matter how hard I've tried (the next two pages have progressed but not much...).

I love you all, I love you all for loving my work, which is very much a part of me. I want to be able to tell you as friends, although I don't know (most of) you, that I will be okay, and pull through this. I want to tell you that while I am gone, I will miss you.

I don't want to know loneliness as well as I think I'm going to have to get to know it.

Of course, I know I missed last week's update. I'll try to get this week's up, but I can't make any promises. Ushicon is coming up and I have less than 15 days to get ready for it... That and schoolwork are really having an effect on... well, drawing time in general, not just comic time. XD I'm glad to see people enjoying Merret, and I really wish I could give you guys more consistant updates. ^^; If only Kiaru_chan (people, I promise she exists XD) would do some of the work, eh? XD
